About Me
God has changed my life and the way I view the world around me. In changing my life to reflect that of Christ, I've started new loves and appreciate the ones that remain. I have enjoyed poetry since I was in middle school and appreciate the deep meaning that it puts on words. Proverbs 18:21 says, "The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit,". I hope my love of God will overflow into my love of poetry, where there is a beautiful coalescence.
God's Word can leave any one person with the peace with which they were once filled with fraught to find. Searching for it in place after place to no avail, left with the promise of hands too full of bliss for anything more, but realizing it is all a simple lie. It is no wonder, then, how easy it is to be inspired by the living Word of God that, once lived out, gives exceedingly more than one could ever hope to obtain. It is a gift that will never cease to keep giving. It is a gift of God. To this end, I will glorify with words the One who breathed out the words of the Bible, and may I do so in a way He finds sweet and fragrant.
My Mission
To merge my love for God and the arts. This won't always look like a God-centered post, but it will be built on the foundation of a worldview where God is magnified.
